Faith Vara is an Electronic Media major at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. She is also takes part in Texas State’s student-run radio station, KTSW 89.9. Faith is involved in both the Promotions department and the Music department. While she has only been involved with KTSW for a short amount of time, Faith has already contributed to helping host multiple live music events, as well as multiple articles for the station’s blog.

Faith has a passion for all things music. Whether that be playing multiple instruments in band during high school, going to multiple live music events every month, collecting records, or writing detailed music reviews and articles for KTSW. She hopes to use this passion and the skills she’s learned to someday work behind the scenes in the music industry.

For now, Faith is continuing her time at Texas State. She hopes her continued involvement at KTSW, as well as the work on this blog, will help her climb the ranks at the radio station. In fact, her current goal is working to someday become a department director at KTSW. With a bright future in mind, Faith is determined to continue working hard and grow her passion for music.
